Ever since attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the early 80's I have found the campus to be a place of both beauty and serenity. As you climb the stairs of the many buildings on campus, you cannot help but wonder about the many footsteps that have gone before. For many years, I found it difficult to capture the beauty and history of the campus but thanks to the encouragement of my oldest daughter Sarah, I soon found myself examining the campus from a different angle and soon the pictures began to emerge - pictures that I felt did justice to the campus. As you look at the pictures in my store, I hope you also find a connection between the time spent here and the way I have captured the moment. I use black and white film and traditional methods to create the silver gelatin photographs of The University of North Carolina at Chapel HIll. This process ensures that the photograph can be enjoyed for generations to come.
Also in my store are selected photographs that I have taken over the years. Some of the photographs are traditional black and white, some were taken with slide film and converted to digital, and some were taken with my digital camera.
In addition, I have included some photographs that were taken by my daughters because they, quite simply, are wonderful photographs worthy of sharing with others.
